Now they are counting down the months til they can live on the same continent. In the same country. Together. Married.
In the meantime though, a little frolicking on Mt. Hood will have to suffice!
This was arguably one of the coldest photoshoots I’ve ever done, but the day was BEAUTIFUL and so were Megan and Kyle! I actually went to middle school with this girl and hadn’t seen her since then, so it was a blast to catch up after so many years! I’m so happy she’s found such an incredible man to marry! Congratulations you two!
This is my favorite kind of day. Hopping in the car with two beautiful people and taking off for the mountains. Laughing and exploring. Climbing up hillsides and wandering around lakes. Making memories in this beautiful state we call home. Soaking up the Oregon summer.
Madison and Tyler, you two are amazing. If I could do a photoshoot like this every day, I would.
So here it is. A Mt. Hood adventure. One of my favorite shoots ever with a couple I adore. Enjoy!
Happy holidays everyone! I can’t believe Christmas is just a day away! This year has absolutely flown by and man oh man has it been a memorable one. I’ll definitely try to do a big 2012-in-review post, but first, here is a perfectly festive engagement shoot from a few weeks ago!
Ashley and Matt wanted to do a holiday theme engagement session and I was ALL for it! We started at their cute little home, then took a day trip up to Sandy, Zigzag, and Government Camp up on Mt. Hood! We stopped at the lovely Sandy Farms to take pictures with Christmas Trees, and then headed up the mountain to the Dancing Bear Log Cabin, aka the most beautiful cabin I’ve ever seen ever. Finally, we decided to drive the rest of the way up the mountain, stopping here and there to take photos on epic cliffs, the wet highway, and in the Ski Bowl parking lot.
It. Was. A. Blast.
Ashley and Matt, you are one amazing, adorable couple. Congratulations!
