Theres nothing like the soft warmth of a sunrise in Mexico. To spend a morning quietly strolling through the palms, wandering around ruins that are hundreds of years old while holding the hand of the person you love most in the world. All you can hear are a few tropical birds singing and the sound of waves crashing on the beach nearby.
I’m normally not a morning person, but beating the crowds and experiencing the ruins of Tulum with these two was absolutely incredible. Christina is an insanely talented photographer herself (check out her work, her business is called Someplace Wild) and her husband Tony is a filmmaker as well. They were in Tulum for a belated honeymoon type of trip, and I was thrilled that I was able to document their romantic vacation together a little bit! My roommate/bestie Marcela was also with me and shot a few herself – you can see her images here.
The network of photographers in this world never ceases to amaze me.
