Kellie and Nathan are two pharmacists who met their freshman year of college at Oregon State University. They both lived on the second floor of the same dorm and became close friends with each other and everyone else on the floor. However, as the best man said in his toast, “everyone knew that there was something else going on between them… everyone except Nathan and Kellie.”
Of course, after a few years of friendship, they eventually figured out what everyone had seen all along. They were in love! Nathan proposed to Kellie while on vacation in The Dominican Republic, and from there they started planning a beautiful DIY wedding in Sisters, Oregon, near their home. They picked Aspen Lakes Lodge because they LOVED the mountain views of The Three Sisters, and Kellie was absolutely thrilled when the peaks shined through the clouds during her ceremony. The white and coral theme beautifully complimented the sagebrush surrounding Aspen Lakes, and Kellie spent months spray-painting mason jars and vases, doing her own graphic design for the notes on each plate, and bringing all the details together. She made my job as photographer so easy and I felt so totally welcomed and at home with these two and their awesome family and friends! Congrats you guys!
