My name is Katy Weaver and I smile a lot. I also take a LOT of pictures, and enjoy eating anything with hot sauce. Okay, not dessert. But almost anything else!

I love sunny afternoons, fashion blogs, black coffee, painting, Snow Patrol, and reading books before bedtime. I’m also slightly obsessed with my Google Reader and my favorite pair of feather earrings.

I can’t go anywhere without my water bottle, and yes, I’ll admit it, I like birdwatching.

I recently graduated from Oregon State University with an Honors Bachelor of Science in new media communications and a minor in fine arts. Corvallis is still my second home (Go Beavs!), but I am now currently living in Portland, Oregon.

I have been shooting professionally for the past three years, and I’ve loved every minute of it. Why? Because above all, photography makes me ridiculously happy. My job allows me to meet tons of unique, amazing people on a daily basis! I absolutely love getting to know my clients and seeing their eyes light up when they tell their own stories. Even more than that, I love capturing these stories in my photos. Beauty isn’t in the makeup on your face or the clothes on your body – it’s in your laughter, your smirk, the mischievous sparkle in your eye.
